The goals of the American Legion Riders are:·
- Promote American Legion membership.
- Use our programs to support veterans' issues, veterans' homes and hospitals.
- Provide a social atmosphere for our American Legion and Legion Riders families.
- Promote motorcycle safety and motorcycle riders rights.
- Participate in runs, events and charitable functions within our communities.
- Participate in parades and other ceremonies that are in keeping with the aims and purposes of the American Legion.
American Legion Riders, Post 34
We had a good Feb. at the post, a successful hamburger and sausage feed and another great breakfast. Thanks to everybody that helped, it sure makes the job easier. To our new riders Victor, Vera, Troy and Cesar, welcome to the group. If I missed anybody, be sure to show up at the next meeting to loudly let it be known. Also a big congrats to Lynn on winning the motorcycle lift. And let’s not forget the Jerry and JoAnne wedding, thus providing us with another rider [I knew I forgot one]. Weather’s warming, bike’s need riding and the rally is creeping up. The schedules are a little fluid at the moment so keep checking your emails for updates. Upcoming rider events are as follows.
- March 3rd; Jerry and Joanne’s reception
- March 10th; alr eboard 4:00
- March16th; Pizza and Beer 5:00-7:00
- March18th; riders breakfast and monthly meeting
